Small College Apartment, Big Style

"My daughter is moving into an apartment at college and needs ideas how to decorate her room." - Jane

Decorating my college apartments was so fun, and I have 6 low cost, key pieces that will make any small, college space fun, cute & trendy!

Hang a funky fabric as a headboard

Hang a picture collage of your friends, family & favorite art

Hang paper lanterns or tissue paper flowers

Make your own chalkboard out of plywood, trim & chalkboard spray paint

Add a colorful area rug

Toss creative throw pillows on your bed

Perfect Picture Collage

My recent post of ways to decorate your stairwell inspired me to find more inspirations to incorporate picture collages into the home. I have a picture collage beginning in my home, and I love how many ways I could take it. I chose to do black and white personal photos, but you could do artwork, photos, colors and so much more. Enjoy my inspirations!
